Netgear wireless adaptor 150 won't work on windows 7

Download the latest software (version 2) from Netgear which contains the drivers for Windows 7. They are not included in Windows 7 by default. Welcome to the new NETGEAR Download Center And enter the WG111 in the search box. and download the manual and software.

Netgear zing

This is a wireless adaptor not a router. Check out the internet connection by directly wiring into the LAN port of the router to the PC. You will probably find the fault there and have to consult your ISP. If it is the adaptor, check you have the correct driver software and the distance between the computer and the router.

Windows unable to find a certificate to log on to the network

Sometimes domains are not available until they are removed and re-added to a machine. You can try logging in locally as an admin, remove it from the domain, verify you are on the network, reboot, and add it back to the domain. A local machine login circumvents the need for a cert to login, but does not give access to domain resources. This will allow you to work on the machine and test the NIC you are troubleshooting.

Adaptor won't recognize wpa2 network

As per its user manual (p 2-1)it only supports WPA, not WPA2So either reduce the wireless network security to WPA/PSK, or get another adapter that supports WPA2Or, If it's a version 2 in hardware, you could download the latest driver V2 that added the WPA2 supportGood luck

I bought a new N300

Assuming you're using the Netgear Smart Wizard software, go to your settings screen and delete all the profiles. After that, create a new one and put in the settings for your NEW network, then save it.

Netgear wg511t errors validate settings...

I'm not sure what that error indicates, but you should restart your computer. If that doesn't work, then you should reinstall the software that came with the device and try again. That will probably fix the problem. Hope this helps!

For aboutfive years i have

First be sure to check the drivers for your Netgear WG111 are up to date and correspond to your Operating System. It is important to note that there are three versions of the WG111. If you visit the Netgear's Knowledge Base site you can see the difference between the 3 versions (v1,v2 and v3) and select the one that corresponds to you. If you don't know what version you have look for a v1, v2 or v3 after the model name:

moz-screenshot.pnglevega.jpg

After you determine which version you have, let suppose its v3, click the link corresponding to it and download the Software Version 2.0.0 (Supports Win 7) if you are using Windows or the WG111v3 Mac OS Driver Version 1.0.0.0 if you are using a Mac. Once you download the file, run the executable file and install the driver/software for your device.

If your problem is not with drivers then youshould look at you Wireless Network Setup. Please Check that the router has a source of a working internetconnection plugged in correctly via an ethernet cable. Also, routers need fromtime to time to be rebooted. Try disconnecting the router from the power sourcefor 15 to 10 seconds and connect it again.

Post more details concerning your OS, the router you are using and what type ofinternet connection you have(DSL or Cable).
