My Nokia N70from SFR , working with CALL IN EUROPE Sim card , I tried a MOBILIS Sim card ,it ask pin code , I put the Mobilis pin code , no result. I tried the pin code given to me by CALL in europe , no result pin rejedcted, But when I use the Sim card Given to me by CALL in EUROPE it works. This PHONE is stamped on it SFR. Please help.

The PUK code is not related to the handset. It is associated with your SIM card. When you enable the PIN in your SIM card, every time you switch on your phone, you will be asked for your pin. At given number of tries provided by your mobile operator, that you have provided the wrong PIN (usually operators set it at 3 tries), then you came to the stage called PUK-blocked.

To unlock, you would need the PUK code of the SIM card. The PUK code is usually an 8-digit code. This PUK code should have been provided to you when you purchased your SIM card. Some has the PIN-PUK code printed in the card body of the SIM card, while some attach it as a separate print out. Should your operator failed to provide this PIN-PUK code to you, you would have to get it from your operator. Try calling their customer service. Just like the PIN, the operator as well could say how much tries do you have to successfully unblock the PUK of your SIM .

Your cell phone may be locked to a particular cell phoneprovider and in this case it needs to be unlocked to use with a different cellphone service provider. You will most probably need a new SIM card.
If you enter the SIM unlock code, which is the puk, incorrectly 3 times, the SIM card becomes unusable.
As a security measure, entering the SIM unlock code 3 times disables the SIM entirely. This is done for security and you will need a new SIM from your carrier.

IF you put PUK code many times depending on the model it wil lock the sim card. This is because to prevent unathorised person using your SIM card.

Default PIN code for nokia mobile is 0000
PUK code will be given by the service provider only.

Please call your service provider or go to service provider office,they will assist you in this issue.And they will have a security check like name,Phone number and other information to check weather the SIM card belongs to you only.Then they will assit you.

If you have lost the PIN code, the only choice is entering the PIN three times so to trigger the PUK code request.

Once you get the PUK code request, the PUK code can be obtained contacting the company that released the SIM.

The only other alternative to find back a lost PIN is going to a Phone shop. They will do same things as above.

You enter the PUK code, when the SIM has been locked by too many attempts at entering the PIN code for the SIM.

When the PUK code is needed, the phone will specifically ask you to enter it. If you want to trigger the PUK code request, enter the PIN code for the SIM card incorrectly a few times. There is no key press codes to trigger the PUK code prompt.

Each PUK code is specific to each SIM card, and has nothing to do with the phone itself.

And the PUK code is also not related to the phone security/lock code (the default for the security/lock code on the phone is 12345 on Nokia phones).

your only option is to call your phone service provider. No it doesn't come with the phone and the phone never has its own puk code because the puk code is about the sim card.

if you put in another sim card the phone will work just fine, its the sim card 3 times pin code wrong puk code enabled pin blocked, call service provider to get it and entry instructions.

SIM pin code:
This is a pin code that locks the sim card until you enter the correct code. This protects your account, even
if your sim is put into another handset. To reset it, you need the PUK code:
Pin Unlock Code (PUK)
If you miss key (or forget) your SIM pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the SIM will lock up, and you’ll need to enter the PUK unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don’t try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.
Phone Security Code:
This locks the handset, as opposed to the sim card. You can also set some handsets to only accept a “new” sim if the phone security code is entered. To reset it, you need the Master code code:
Master Reset Code
Sometimes known as the Master Code, this allows you to unlock a handset if you have entered the Security Code wrongly too many times.

as youve entered the puk code, it asks for the new pin code, the default code was 1234 right? so if you are going to try the new pin code yu can either invent a new pin code or just enter the default code.
