Miller trailblazer 302 wont start. carb not getting gas but fuel line ok to carb. will start by dripping gas in carb

Pull the gas line off the carb and into a container then turn it over to make sure gas is actually getting to the carb continuously. If not most likely the rubber hose could be deteriorated inside and bits of rubber are clogging the hose and the carb. If gas feed is fine, your carb float could be bad, or needle and seat stuck closed, plugged etc. Probably time to rebuild the carb.

Testimonial: "I pulled the line off and turned it over and have gas to the carb. Must be the float, thanks. it only has 44 hours since new but is several years old now. Thanks"

My low hours 302 Trailblazer did the same thing and as it turned out, to be the fuel shut-off solenoid was stuck closed. A quick clean and it was running again in 20 minutes.

Miller trailblazer 302 diesel welder, full tank of diesel, gauge shows empty, starts but then stops

the Trailblazer 302 diesel, has a fuel level sensor that tells Control PCB2 if there is fuel in the tank. PCB2 sends a signal to CR1, which lets voltage go to the Fuel Solenoid. If the sensor is bad, PCB2, CR1, or the fuel solenoid, fuel will not get to the engine. I am including the manual for the Trailblazer. Now keep in mind, the circuit may be a little bit different based on serial number. In the center of page 46 will be the fuel circuitry. Good luck https://www.millerwelds.com/files/owners-manuals/O217454U_MIL.pdf

My miller 225 has a kohler engine wont start fuel is getting to the carb float is not stuck carb was not dirty but cleaned it has a soeloid valve and it is getting 12 volts now it will start pouring

Will it start if you put a little gas in the carb before cranking? if it fires then, sounds like a stuck fuel shut off valve, located on bowl. one wire going to it.

We are having a fuel problem. is the pump in the tank or a inline pump. We can get it running by putting fuel into the carb but wont stay running.

Remove all fuel pumps.Buy a LOW PRESSER inline electric fuel pump attach it between fuel tank & carb Most smaller portables I've worked with have this problem. The mechanical & electric stock pumps wair out fast. You should be able to purchase one at any welding supply house High presser pumps will give you fooding problems with carb.
