I'm having the same issue on my un55es6500, it just started about an hour ago. I stepped out of the room and when I returned it was there. Not good. You may have a tab failure. A repair shop may be able to diagnose and repair this, but most likely the lcd panel is broken. The panel is the most expensive part of flat tv's. A new panel will cost more than a used tv.
could be as simple as a bad HDMI cable or a bad connection on the LCD screen to system board cable this is internal so harder to repair. It may be a bad LCD screen, which is not really repairable as spares are hard to find (no two alike) and expensive as a new TV.
