How do I remove talking subtitles on my digihome tv without a remote

Possibly same method on remote control as shown on page 11 of the following manual link. (I could not locate that particular tv, so I searched for digihome tv instructions using https://www.google.com)

Pressing yellow button or M button opens a Menu, and then pressing the keys to open the Feature menu shows a Child Lock item. If unchecked, the Child Lock is removed.

Subtitles are embedded at the production end; not movable. Perhaps you are referring to closed captioning.

To remote subtitles, you must have its remote control.

Setup codes to check with digihome brand are 036,018,039,082,047,011. If you wish to get more codes, four digit, five digit, three digit, check this link. Setup code list and proceedings to some popular models remote controls are given. Pull up older posts.

You have to go to Video subtitles settings and turn it off. In some TV's its called closed caption off.
You may even have a one touch option on your remote labeled subtitle or a logo of a TV screen with three dots at the bottom ( indicating writing on the screen )

There is a subtitles on/off control in the DVD player's setup menu too. That also needs to be on.
