How do I reset my password if it won't reset?

You need to reset password, open website and enter user Id and click on " forgot password" and get verification code then enter and click on verifies and get link for reset new password .

What type of error message are you seeing? ("Incorrect user ID or password.") Perhaps you are using the wrong email address. You can reset your password. They will send it to the one you used to register.

this problem will depend on the error message you are getting.
If it's giving you a password reset option then you have put in an incorrect password or user ID but if you are sure that it had always been the correct info, you can also uninstall your current yahoo messenger version and reinstall it from Yahoo website.

Some mistake most had be make by you.Remember you get to provide the same information you use when creating your account. Follow this step to recover your account.
First of all, you go to yahoo mail.
Click i can't access my account.
Select forgot my password.
Click Next.
Enter your I.D and code shown below.
Verify your I.D.
Reset your password.
A message will be sent to you via e-mail. So there is when you will get your password back.
