Changing the t-stat will not keep the boiler from tripping out. Sounds like you need to have the boiler serviced.

Changed the batteries in timer/thermostat but the boiler is still not talking to the transmitter heating still on can you help??

Is this a wireless system, meaning no wires between the thermostat and the boiler? If so, check to see if the code buttons have been reset. If this is a hardwire system, the relay on your control board may be stuck. In any case, you can always shut off the boiler by turning off the gas and/or circuit breakers.

Correct signal does not seem to be sent from the controler to the boiler, either CH comes on or HW but not necessarily when they are supposed to. Boiler engineers have been out twice and both times advise...

we had one of these and found out the battery inside had failed. the battery is none replaceable. did try to replace it but it lost its memory and was only good as a switch. think when the battery fails it loses it memory and things start going wrong. so would say change it. now thinking on it should of changed the battery why having the old one on and taken the old one off after installing the new one.

The wifi connection from worcester boiler to room thermastat Honeywell Cm921 , boiler not receiving signal

Can't help you directly, but Honeywell will have user instructions on their website.
It's something like holding the 'stat within a metre of the boiler when the batteries are inserted. Best to RTFI.

I do not have a room thermostat connected to my oil fired central heating boiler. I want to install a wireless room thermostat to avoid having to run cable. how do i go about this and which is the best...

All wireless wall thermostats are Millivolt controlled. rather than having an 18 or 24 volt (transformer) wired wall thermostat. Before purchasing any wireless wall thermostat, you need to determine what your oil fired boiler requires for activation. My experience tells me, that it's going to require either 18 or 24 volts. In which case a wireless thermostat won't work.

Hope this helped you and thanks for choosing FixYa.

Need to learn about the electrical system. My coffee machine does not turn on,

There are 2 reset buttons on the side of the boiler if you have the neew J boiler.
If you machine is older, there is a reset button in the back of the boiler towards the bottom of the boiler. Push in between the 2 wires on the black thermostat on either boiler. Its harder on the J boiler because the thermostats are between the boiler and the side of the machine.

Alpha boiler - wireless programmer failing

it sounds like the problem may be in the boiler and not the controller itself. Do you kno which is are the two wores that are the r-w for the thermostat take and purt them together and see if the boiler stays on or shuts off like it does with the thermostat. If it does then replace the reciever. If it doesn't then you have another problem. Good Luck
