My bluetooth disconnects by itself and sometimes it dont connect

Check if you have the correct icon, or look on the web for help.

Its been said that if you hibernate your PC too long,

when you resume windows your wireless is 'confused'.

Try restarting or hibernating again and resuming immediately after.

Sometimes this works for me, sometimes it doesn't.

Also, if your bluetooth isnt working either, you could have a problem with your wireless.

Check for updates and update BIOS and anything related to your computers wireless assistant, connectivity, etc.

re-install the wlan card driver, just download it again dont bother uninstalling

On wireless connections i think its every 4 hours the wireless goes down to refresh itself " refresh cycle" most people dont know this" theres not alot you can do.

Starting from the beginning sometimes cures those problems. In the link below for the Plantronics M100 take a look at the "Tips" and "Connect" pages to prepare and pair the headset to your mobile. You want to make sure your phone is empty of any bluetooth devices.

go into settings, look for wireless controls or bluetooth, should ask you to pair with the name of your bluetooth if it wont, turn off the bluetooth in the phone and turn off the bluetooth itself by holding down the button for about 6 secs till the light blinks a few times then goes out. turn the bluetooth function on on the phone FIRST, wait till it says its on, then turn on the bluetooth itself by holding the button down until the light blinks a few times then you get a solid light, it wont stay solid, it will blink a few times then go out blinking from time to time. go back to your phone and find the bluetooth menu and it should ask you if you want to pair, hit yes or whatever option you have and it should start pairing and then connect or you may have to hit the connect option if you have one they dont all connect automatically sometimes so you have to go through all this when you charge the bluetooth or turn it off. good luck.

I got jabra bluetooth which is not getting connected with my HTC touch mobile.It is not getting detected.

I have the same problem. I dont understand what the 'auto connect' feature as you would think it would re-pair with the cell once the bluetooth is disconnected, right?

Besure that you hit the button on the bluetooth at the same time you hit your phone to search for devices. Sometimes you might have to swtich up the timing. Its a weird thing sometimes with these bluetooth devices and cell phones. Also keep your bluetooth near your phone as you do it.

probably a hardware issue on the phone itself...
i would call up lg support first ask them why is this...
bluetooth does have a 10m range and connecting a bluetooth headset shouldnt be as far as 10m

May be a power off time limit for bluetooth in the settings somewhere.
i.e. switch off if not sending or recieving a signal from another device.
