Last night I was going to plug in my tablet in to charge it and it slid out of the case and hit the floor and shattered the screen. can it be fixed? Is it under warranty?
I'm not sure what else you want me to add but the tablet is in a case with little finger like hooks that holds it in the case. This is only the second time I charged the tablet. I'm not sure why it slid out of the case the fingers should have held it in the case. Is the tablet under warranty? Call the company you have the warranty with and ask them if the warranty covers accidental damage. If not ask for help on replacing the screen. Good Luck!

Turned off the tablet, unplugged the charger and kept the tablet off for about 30 minute to one hour, plugged in back the charger, then turn on the tablet. After that I you might see the tablet started charging. Good Luck.
It sounds like there's a problem with the charger. The wire on the charger is rather delicate. So is the port on your tablet where the wire plugs in. There may be a break inside the wire. If you dropped your tablet while the wire was plugged in and it hit the floor on the charger plug, the charger plug could have damaged the charging port in the tablet or the wire itself could be damaged.
Find someone else who has the same tablet and ask to switch chargers to see if either of them still work on the other tablet. If your friend's charger starts charging your tablet without a problem, then the problem is a a broken wire in your charger. If neither charger will charge your tablet but both chargers charge your friends tablet without a problem, then the problem is with the charging port on your tablet.
We need to know the make and model of your tablet. But, it sounds like the LCD and digitizer were both damaged, how much it will cost will depend on make and model.
Good Luck
Press the power for about 5 seconds until the unit goes completelly down. Power up again and if the problem presist, I suggest you to contact costomer support. Good Luck!.
You could try to do a hard reset. Press and hold the power button and the volume up button simultaneously for 10-30 seconds and see if the device will then turn on.
It may be the charger has a loose wire. In that case a new charger would fix the problem. Mine has a problem with the charging port itself. I am fortunatly that my tablet is under warrenty they are going to replace the tablet for me.
I had the same thing happen to my Digix Tab 720 last night. This happened after I reset the tablet to factory settings. I left it charging over night and this morning, it is working perfectly. Hope this helps.
