I would start by charging the headphones overnight. Try to use them in the morning. If this does not resolve the problem, either the charger or the headphones are bad. You can contact JBL and see if your set is still under warranty. You should still be able to use them with a wire if everything else fails. Be sure JBL is charged, press the power button on JBL, press the Bluetooth button on JBL. Turn on your phones bluetooth,make it visible to all devices, make it search for aplliances. When it finds JBL - pair it (you may have to make up a pairin number). The "sun" button controls different sound qualities. And turn the volume up! You should download the JBL MUSIC FLOW APP from the APP STORE to make the most of it.

You will need to reread the JBL directions. Most portable systems are fairly straigt forward. There usually a button with the bluetooth symbol. Press and hold till it starts blinking. Then go into settings, bluetooh on your S5 and look for the JBL.
