Insignia 37 inch lcd inputs not working except for hdmi inputs

I have a 37 inch Insignia lcd tv that I purchased 13 months ago and I receive a no signal message and a grey screen when i turn my TV on. The only inputs that seem to work are the hdmi inputs where I have my xbox connected to. My composite and component inputs are not working. Any solutions?

TV when hooked to Direct TV by HDMI will not work, it must be hooked by RCA cables. I now have 1080i rather than 1080P. The HDMI cable and the direct TV box has been changed. What can the problem be?

My Insignia 37" LCD TV only has four audio input jacks. How do I connect my surround sound to my TV

Depending on how you have it set up, and what inputs you have on your TV/surround sound system, you can connect your surround sound through HDMI or optical cables. Otherwise, you can use standard composite (red, white, yellow) or component (red, green, blue).

HDMI Input only reads Digital TV and not PS3 or AV Receiver

Well, I won't take the credit of others. Many people have the same problem as you do.
In the search box on the top of this page, put in " PS3 HDMI ". The one that has the 10 solutions so far has the best answers for you.

I bought an HDMI wire and it does not work with my tv.

A quick Google search for "IBIAO Technology" on November 2017 had no hits for me. This is not a comment on the quality of their products but might indicate a smaller than usual company or distributor.

I have purchased more than 10 generic HDMI cables from "Mycablemart". All continue to work perfectly on my TVs (LG, Samsung, Sharpe, Viewsonic). These sets were manufactured between 2006 and 2011 and include a 3D plasma unit. Cable prices were typically one half to one third that of big box stores for the purchased lengths of 18 inches to 15 feet.

A Google search using "powered hdmi cables" had a hit for an HDMI.org.learning center with questions and answers to just about every HDMI related issue. One Q/A indicated normal HDMI cables will work up to 10 meters (30+ feet) if the sender/receiver are engineered properly. You might consider buying an active or powered HDMI cable if a cheaper standard cable will not work.

Hd tv

My HDMI has stopped working. I have had a technician from Dish network out to my house 3 times and they have replaced the receiver and the HDMI cable and were unable to get the set to work all I get is a blue screen and a message which reads no signal. I also cannot use mt set using 3 rca cables connected to the component input when set to 1080 I keep intermittenly get a black screen then a blue screeen and sometimes a no signal message. I have to watch the tv set to 720 on component 2 and it is the most stable in that setting. Please send help

No sound when dvd is connected to Insignia tv

If you are trying to use the S video you wont get sound . try using a HDMI or the composit cables. If you don't have a HDMI and have to buy one ** don't buy the expensive one as the TV don't know the difference no matter what the sales man tells you** the cheap ones work just as well.. if your DVD don't have HDMI connection us the composit RCA cables. Make sure you are connected to the audio IN not the output on the back of the TV.. use the video 1 inputs on the set they are color coded to match the cables.

this should get things working for you
