The door blows open at initial start-up
The unit has a function called softstart. It is simply a solenoid valve that opens during the start of a wash cycle. It allowsair to mix in with the wash water during the initial start of the cycle. It's sole purpose is to reduce the startup of the wash pressure to prevent the door from popping open. If this valve isn't functioning properly or at all, your door will pop open at the beginning of the cycle.
I would check how level the dishwasher is. Might need to adjust the feet.
Hello &
Welcome to FixYa
The problem
appears to be with the door switch as initially it starts cycle and then the
control senses open door so stops the unit completely. Take a hair dryer and
blow some air on the door lock/switch assembly, if this won't help then
replacing the door switch/lock assembly is recommended repair. Please get back
to me if you have any other questions.
