Check out the amplification area because most probably your speaker wires were having non insulated joints which eventually led to short circuit. You can locate the area by looking out for a large metal cooler aluminium made

SOURCE: HX-D7 DVD Compact Stereo Audio / Video System with 5 DVD Changer Shelf System: my jvc was working fine but all of a sudden it sto...

Hello
this could be a power fault, but first check the power plug if it is in contact with the power socket and if it is then you have to open the back cover of the system to check the fuses if blown resistor, capacitor and transistor with the use of a multimeter to check for back component and if bad replace faulty ones.
Then power on to confirm, if not on then take it to the manufacturer or a skilled personnel to handle it

My jvc hx-d7 radio is turned on in 2 seconds it shuts down to protect mode how do i take protect off ?

You can't. The main amplifier module will probably have a channel blown. The unit is detecting this and tripping into protect mode to stop further damage occurring. Needs to go to a repair place. sorry. ps If you get sound briefly before it trips off then it may just be a speaker wire shorting out! worth checking

Connect to TV

Check the user manual for the TV to make sure that the TV has the option to allow an external audio system to be connected. If applicable, then check that any necessary mode setting have been done in the TV set to allow an external audio system. Make sure that you are using compatible connectors between the TV and the sound system. Also, the sound system has to be compatible to the TV.

INNOVAGE JUMBO REMOTE CONTROL

Try pressing the channel up button multiple times to see if you can help the remote find the code. If you push the channel up button enough times and "something happens" then immediately press the mute button to save the code. It worked for my Sylvania tele.
