Have 2 handsets, 1 purchased last year and 1 repaired last year. been using the first one. Suddenly phone will not turn on or give any response. Charged battery from phone I wasn't using, same result. Tried both batteries in repaired phone. no response. Tried batteries in other charger. no response. no beep, no lights in either handset. ...
What likely happened is the base unit un registered the handset(s).
But you said no lights, which I take to mean no display on the handset. They will turn on and show no service if they will turn on at all. Assuming your charger is good, you likely have two bad batteries. If still no turn on indication, get one new battery and try that. Did the handset or charger get really wet EVER? Those handsets will have corrosion inside that spreads slowly. That will stop those handsets every time. The batteries when they go bad, they go quickly and will not power the phone at all.
There are few dealers that work on these. We do and EnGenius does. They charge a flat rate.
Will likly cost more to repair that replace. Sorry, that is the way our society is today....throw away what dosen't work.
