No 'replaceable ' parts. buy a new one, and do not junk the old one, use it for spares.

How do i get the pump to unlock

The pump is a twist to unlock. Most likely you left it for a while tight screwed on. Push the handle all the way in.. Put a stick in the handle, then slowly unscrew it. This will give you more leverage.

I just dug a new garden and want to spray the new soil with roundup to prevent news grass and weeds from growing in this area. How long after application of spray should I wait before planting new shrubs...

Roundup works on the leaves of an active plant. It is not a preventative. Use Preen for preventing weeds. If you do spray Roundup on active weed, it takes two weeks before you can plant your good plant material.

I have treated the area with roundup for about a 70% kill rate. A friend just mowed over the area. Will this impact the ongoing kill, and do I need to spray the area again?

When was the field mowed after spraying? If it was after three days, then the plants that were treated will die off. You probably should plan to retreat the areas that weren't killed after those plants are growing again. (It will take a few days depending on moisture and other conditions.)

In general, you can spray any missed plants 7 days after the first treatment. Then mow or seed the area 3 days after the second treatment.

If the field was mowed prior to the three days after the first treatment, retreat the entire area after the new growth begins.

For specific details, read the label for your Roundup product. Scotts has the label at the bottom of their product pages. All of the Scotts Roundup products are listed here: http://www.scotts.com/smg/catalog/productCategorySubSelf.jsp;jsessionid=64F09279DC15FE8877450FE65C85C38E?itemId=cat50096&navAction=jump . Select the specific one you used and click on the View Product details link. Then click on the View Label link. For example the label for the Roundup RTU (ready to use) Pump and Go Spray formulation is here: http://www.scotts.com/smg/products/round_up/kill_and_prevent_weeds/pdf/BasePNG.pdf .

I hope this helps.

I recently used ROUNDUP on a lawn The product did its job, the weeds are gone, so is some of the grass near the spray. It has not rained since the spay went on - maybe 10 - 12 days. How can I restore the...

Your grass is probably dead as well. Roundup is a non selective herbicide and will kill anything green. So take care when applying. Even green stems of young trees. Shield from spray when spraying. The best is to plant new grass. Roundup stays active in the soil for around two weeks despite what Monsanto says so add new topsoil when laying new runners or a new block of grass. Rain is no issue except within 6 hours of treatment. You can water the lawn with no problem now. Good luck and take care-Roundup is a poison that does affect our hormonal balances especially women.

When can I plant grass after using Roundup?

You can plant or replant as soon as the weeds you sprayed are dead. Roundup is deactivated upon contact with the soil, it only affects the plant material sprayed.

How much roundup to 5L of water so I can spray

If you're using pro-roundup or agriculture level roundup mix 1 Cup of roundup to 5 gallons of water. This will give you a mixture between 1% and 2% which will kill most undesirables and anything else that picks up the spray.
