how are these speakers connected to the computer?
Via USB or via the 3.5mm port?
Usually you don't need drivers for speakers but what you need is the driver for your soundcard.

Check the volume on the systems itself. The difference of hardware won't matter has long as you have the correct driver for each hardware. Just check the volume & still doesn't work GET BAC @ME.
do windows updates and choose to download the driver for your soundcard. if they're not on the windows update, then try to go to the manufacturer's website to download the soundcard driver.
