Fuzzy crackly sound in tv speaker

The speakers in these TVs are their weakness. More over you may not get the original speakers easily. Here is the solution if you can do it. It is the rubber ring between the paper cone and the metal body which gets cracked and cause crackled sound. Take a tube of RUBBER solution (the one we use for general purpose sticking) and cover the rubber ring with it properly. Let it dry and put the speakers back. Your speakers will sound as good as original. Good luck. You will not need to use the outside speakers.

It seems you needs more power to maintain the level of good sound.Maybe the maximum volume is 30 - then the mininum is 15 and you can't hear any cracking sound. If you exceed 15 the minimum, as you said starting 17 - 20 you hear crackling sound .Then you reach ,what they called the "cliping level"so much distortion and crackling sound,your stereo too small to accomodate .You must add a power amplifier so crackling will gone and to fit your listening pressure...

I do also get this same issue, They were working just fine, and 4 or 5 months ago, the right speaker crackles, if i unplug the right speaker all is fine. But as soon as I plug the right speaker in, i get a cracking sound. Have you solved this ussue?

Crackling is usally one or two things my guess would be bad grounding of the amp or bad connection with the jacks or plug it self try to make it crackle on purpose by jiggling the jacks see if it has any effect on the crackling try to narrow your possibilitys

Look to the source. Try switching or reseating any cables between it and the speakers.

Is it on all audio sources or only certain ones? Have you swapped the speakers Left-to-Right to isolate the speaker from the signal chain as a cause?

If it's only an analog source doing it I would suspect a bad audio cable or a switch somewhere in the signal path. Typically, it might be a switch you

rarely use, like a Tape Monitor. It's wise to occasionally (with power OFF) operate all manual controls throughput their ranges a number of times to wipe oxides from their contacts.

If the sound FLUCTUATES up & down, try turning off the AutoVolume in the sound menu. You didn't say if it's one or all speakers crackling. Crackling is either a speaker or circuitry issue. Adjust the balance away from the speaker that crackles, if it stops, that speaker is probably "fried". If it still crackles, I'd turn off the speakers and run the sound thru a stereo for the quick, cheap fix. My Samsung (10+ years old to be fair) crackles due to a circuit issue but if I SMACK the left side speaker (behind which is the sound board and side panel connectors) it stops for a while. Maddening. I think I broke it squeezing it into the furniture it's in, pressing on the protruding RCA plugs. Dumb design.

From the speakers or from the inside of the unit. On all modes, eg. normal tv + digibox/scart input???

The answer is: "Yes." If your speaker wiring is such that they all share a common ground wire, and that ground wire is shorting out, it can cause all speakers to go silent when it is grounded (shorted). I would check the wiring, and replace any cracked wiring, and if the wiring looks like the shielding is worn, replace all the speaker wiring. Monster cable is the best, but any heavy copper wiring works fine. I often use 110V. appliance wiring to install car stereos.

check audio cables wiggle them around if no difference in sound check other inputs if they all crackle call for service it sould be under warranty probably in the speakers or the input board

It sounds to me as if possibly ya Main IC Amp Chip & OR the Output Capacitors are failing... Sometimes it is a sign of a power supply on it's way out... Either way it's time for a repair shop quote. Either that or it may be the speakers crossovers... to check this, if you can, try another set of speaker... see if problem is still there. If it IS, then it IS most probably as I said above.. If NOT then it may be one or both of the "Crossover Network" in each speaker...
