If you can access the Facebook account you can go to the upside down triangle at the top and click settings.

Under general settings, click edit next to email and click add another email.

Change the new email to the Primary contact and delete the first one. Click save changes. You might be asked to type your password to confirm.

For user name just click edit on the username line and change the name. Click save changes. Again it might ask for password.

For Password click the edit on the line for password. Put in your current password and your new one twice. Click save changes.

SOURCE: Facebook Password Reset

Sorry to say, but there is no way for Facebook to confirm you as the real you since your email no longer exists. They need to send you a confirmation email typically and since they can't, the only solution is to create a new account. Facebook is not good at responding to their customer service emails. You should also try to post your question in their "help center" section or look through already asked questions.. there may be a better solution there.

SOURCE: Can't Get Into My Facebook

I had this problem 4 weeks ago, and I emailed [email protected] (or [email protected], can't remember) and they got back to me 2 weeks after with a really nice reply, and sorted it out for me. Put my account back to normal, and gave me a new password.
They were absolutely lovely, and when I emailed them back to say thanks they even sent me another email saying 'no problem'.
Just email them and be patient :)
Don't worry.

Start with Facebook Password
Suddenly you attempt to login to your Facebook profile.
Perhaps you have simply forgotten your password or worst case your Facebook account security has been compromised.

Having had this happen to me, I can help you reset your Facebook password and restore your peace of mind.

You will be back networking with your friends, family and coworkers in no time.
Go to your computer bring up the Facebook login screen like you normally would.

Do not fill in any information.

Click on the link above your Facebook user name and password that states forgot your password. This brings you to a different screen.

Fill in the email address associated or on file with your Facebook account.
If you cannot remember, keep trying different email addresses until you do.

Click enter and a Facebook reset link will be sent to your email so you can recover your password. It usually takes up to 5 minutes.

Check your spam email folder if the email does not appear in your inbox.

Click the link in your email and answer any security questions by Facebook.
This brings back to the Facebook website.

Reset your password with a phrase you will remember mixed in with 1 to 2 numbers or more. Record this in a notebook or on a safe place.

Use a different password than you would for your email.

This decreases your chances of having both websites compromised.

Fix Facebook If You Get Locked Out

It is possible to get hacked or click on a virus that locks you out of your Facebook account.
The social network uses preventive security measures to stop malicious software or hackers from harming the site.

Sometimes these countermeasures are too sensitive and cause everyday users to get locked out. If you were recently locked out, due to a technical glitch, user error or compromised account, then you can use Facebook's automated compromised reporting tool.

In most cases, you'll regain access to your account within a few minutes.
Type "facebook.com/hacked" in the address bar of a Web browser.

Press "Enter" on your keyboard.
Click the "My Account is Compromised" button to continue.

Fill in the form on the next page by choosing one of three identification methods: email address or phone number, Facebook username, or your name along with a friend's name.

Click the "Continue" button to continue onto the next page.
Enter your Facebook account's password, and click "Continue."

On the next page, the website notifies you that your account is locked out, which it may or may not have already been.

Type a "New Password" and "Confirm Password."
When done typing, click the "Change Password" button.

Click the check box for each email address associated with your account, confirming you have changed the password for your email address.

This is a security precaution. Click "Continue" to move to the next step.
Review if there were changes to Account Settings, and then click "Continue."

Click the "Log In" button.
Your Facebook account is unlocked, and you may proceed to use it as normal.

My Facebook Let Me Log In

Facebook has become a daily or near-daily habit for many people all over the world:
People spend more than 700 billion minutes every month on the site, talking to friends, playing games and sharing information.

While signing up with Facebook is simple, sometimes accessing an existing account can prove to be problematic.

This can occur for a variety of reasons.
Incorrect Password
Facebook users who attempt to log into the site with an incorrect password will not be able to access their account until they go through the password recovery process.

Users can recover their Facebook password by clicking the "Forgot Your Password?" link underneath the password login field.

Users must enter their Facebook email address, linked mobile phone number, Facebook username, or their name and a friend's name.

Following information entry, users can click the "Search" button to identify their account and have the password reset to a new password of the user's choice
.
Incorrect or Forgotten Email
Facebook users who provide an incorrect email address will be unable to log into the site.
Since an email address must be entered exactly as it appears on the email account, including any capital or lowercase letters, numbers and special symbols, an incorrect email login may be as simple as an accidental lowercase letter or a forgotten underscore.

Facebook users should check their email address to ensure that no mistakes of this nature have occurred before login.

If a user has forgotten the email address used for their Facebook account, Facebook suggests the following options for email address recovery:

Try to log in with a username if one was registered, try to log in using a mobile phone number if one is linked to the account, try locating the account on the "Password Reset" page, or ask a Facebook friend to view the account and find the email address listed on the profile.

If none of these options work, Facebook suggests using any option on the "Recover Your Account" page.

Cache Or Cookies Problems Facebook users who are unable to log in may be having a cache or cookies problem.
To fix these type issues, users should clear the cache and cookies on the computer or mobile device, enter "m.facebook.com" as a URL rather than using previously established bookmarks or links, then log in as usual.
Account Disabled by Facebook
Facebook seeks to keep its site populated with real people, rather than fake profiles.
As Facebook states, "Since accounts that impersonate anyone or anything can damage the integrity of this environment, Facebook doesn't allow fake profiles for celebrities, pets, ideas or inanimate objects."

If your profile is deemed to be a potential fake profile, the account may be disabled by Facebook. When this occurs, the user will get a message upon attempted login that provides a link to the "Confirm Your Identity" page.

This page provides possible reasons that the account may have been disabled. In some cases, it is due to the user not confirming an identity via a phone number. http://www.facebook.com/help/?faq=17007&ref_query=forgot

My email address disapeared from my screen.

Now which email account was it ????

Important information can sometimes be sent to an old email address that you no longer use.
For instance, if you registered a domain name, a website hosting account, a PayPal, or eBay account with an old email address but forgot to update your account when you switched email providers, then messages sent by those sites will be overlooked.
Finding old email accounts is not that difficult, especially because email users tend to use the same user name, or variations of it, for all email accounts.
If you know, or have an idea of what the old user name was, then retrieving, or changing the password is simple, but each email server uses a different user name or password retrieval method.

Call your internet provider and tell them you have forgotten your email account.
Give them your name and account number, found on your monthly statement.
In some cases the Internet provider will want to email this information to you.
Be sure they send the information to the alternate email address which you can access.
You don't want them to send messages to the email address you can't currently access.
The internet provider will ask you the security question you selected when signing up for the account.
If you can't remember what you selected, then the customer service representative may ask for a user name, your address, or the telephone number under which you registered the account.
Reset the password with the customer service representative over the phone.
The representative will help you change the user name if needed and reset the password so you can access the account again.
Yahoo Email
Go to the Yahoo mail page which asks you for your Yahoo ID.
Click on "I can't access my account."
Make the appropriate selection from the choices.
If you choose "I can't remember my user ID" then Yahoo will have you answer the "secret questions" they asked when you signed up.
These questions will be something like: "What was your first car?" or "Who was your third grade teacher?" If you answer coincides with the answer you gave when you signed up for the account.
Yahoo will give you your user ID.
After recovering your user ID, click on "I can't access my account" again and select "I can't remember my password," then click next and you will be taken to a change password screen, where you can change your password.
Start using your old Yahoo email account.
MSN Hotmail Email
Go to the Hotmail, or the MSN ID page, where it asks for your user name and password
Enter your user ID.
Unfortunately, MSN requires you to remember the user ID.
Click on "I have forgotten password"
Choose whether you want your password mailed to you or changed.
Unless you have registered a secondary email, if you choose email then the password will be sent to the account you can't access.
If you want to change password then you will be asked the security questions you specified when you registered the account.
Questions are something similar to, "Mothers birth place?" You may also be asked for your zip code, or address.
Enter a new password.
Enter anew password when the MSN ID page loads again and access your old email account.
Gmail Email
Access the Gmail ID page and click on "I can't access my account."
Choose the appropriate selection from the page that loads.
Options include, "I have forgotten my password" and "I have forgotten my user name."
If you select "I forgot user name," then click on "retrieve user name page," which you will see further down on the page.
Enter the alternate e-mail with which you registered the account.
The user name will be sent to that email.
Select "I have forgotten my password" If you know your user name then choose and click on "retrieve password" page.
Enter your user name on the page that comes up and then answer the confidential question that is asked.
Send password reset instructions to an alternate email and access your old Gmail email account.
