I have a magnavox DTV Digital to Analog converter box model TB110MW9 I have lost the remote I do have a universal ONN remote model ONA12AV058 The box is not powered on you need the remote to power on the box has no buttons How do I get the box to power on and how do i program my ONN remote to the box

Found a solution that works well...

I picked up a Sony RM-VL600 universal remote with learning capability. With this unit, I've been able to program all the functions of the TB100MW9 DTV Converter box.

I picked up this unit at Walmart for $25, but have seen it on Amazon for as little as $16.

This remote is a vast improvement over the remote that comes with the Magnavox DTV converter, and was easy to program.

SOURCE: I have this RCA Universal remote (RCU410WMS) and I

RCA's site list codes 25 and 006 for Magnavox cable boxes. Maybe one of these will work for the converter. The RCA site has a link so you can look up codes. Click on "find your remote control codes here" and pick your model number, then the type of device you want to control. If the codes I gave don't work, maybe try some of the other brands of cable box codes. You might find one that will work.

Go to Wally world and they have two universal remotes I just purchased a RCA RCRN04GR for about $11 that is with included..... works just fine!!
