I have a Sole F63 treadmill. It has been working fine for 2 years. But yesterday when I turned it on and inserted the safety key, the screen said "INITIAL", the platform started to rise then stopped. Then I got "ELEVATION ERROR" on the screen. It said to push "START" to bypass, but that doesn't lower the platform back down...nor do either set of "UP" "Down" buttons. I tried to reset the factory settings. It starts its test, the belt speeds up quickly for almost a minute or so, then I get "CHECK ERROR" on screen and then none of the buttons respond.
I have a Sole F63 & had the same issue, "elevation error-press stop to bypass." I followed the calibration procedure and it showed the wheel size required adjustment back to 2.30. Once all steps were completed, it was working as expected again.
There are a few things you may need to check. You already tried calibration. Next thing I would do is check the sensor wire from the incline to the controller. Make sure its properly plugged into the controller. The controller can also be an issue. If someone was tampering with the unit, the sensor wire could be plugged into the wrong connector as there is another connector that will fit. If the calibration does not pass you may need to check the speed sensoralignment. You must understand the instruction for calibration is under the hood for motor.
1) Remove the motor cover hood by loosening the 4 screws that hold it inplace (you do not need toremove them completely).2) The speed sensor is located on the left side of the frame, right nextto the front roller pulley (thepulley will have a belt around it that also goes to the motor). Thespeed sensor is small and blackwith a wire connected to it.3) Make sure the sensor is as close as possible to the pulley withouttouching it. You will see a magneton the face of the pulley; make sure the sensor is aligned with themagnet. There is a screw thatholds the sensor in place that needs to be loosened to adjust thesensor. Re-tighten the screw whenfinished.
2) if the problem persist you must Test the main motor for open, ground 3) the main control board faulty. See the block diagram that I did as person like you that understand that 90% of functions the main motor controller board has effect.
good luck. sincerely. God bless you.

Test the flexible cable from keypanel vs display board and tigh the connector from display board vs main controll motor board. Test the relais if there are. Test for open and close, and clean the contact with spray for clean contact. Watch the videos. Finally the display board can be faulty b) main motor board too faulty.
