Need to remove the back section of Mercedes 230 SLK 1999 Kompessor

hi,center console or center gear lever cover(wooden console)

• remove radio,then remove control unit of aircon by pressing down the 2 latch,located in upper edge in radio hole.remove screw in upper part of console
  

• remove black cover (look like astray)fold both side,remove screw
• remove shifting lever
• try to lift in the console,be careful,sometimes sticky

first thing I would try, disconnect the battery to the car for a minute, then reconnect it. that may correct your problem.

If you try to disassemble the mirror, you gonna break the locking tabs that hold the parts inside right off. Your best option is to lightly sand the mirror, purchase the closest matching paint, if not exact paint color of your vehicle, and respray the new mirror. Let it dry thoroughly and mount it to the vehicle.

I have the radio code to turn it on but the radio won't respond
when I pushthe onbutton....the numerals on the face of the
radio have slid down so you can't read them any more..It's been off for over a year sense I took the battery cables off to store the car for two months while on a trip!! HELP, I want my radio back..I've also switched out fuses number 5 and 7 but still
doesn't turn on..:((( David
