Acer c710-2856 got stolen how can I trace it

Not that I know of.

You can install a tracking software in the computer, for in case it's stolen, but this has to be BEFORE it is stolen.

Rest assured whomever stole it will get their just reward.

Unfortunately unless you have the number written down there is no way to find out the serial number.

It is not possible to trace your cell phone, even if you hadsetup a tracker program on the phone, it can only give the location of yourcell phone in the coverage area where the cell phone transmitter tower islocated.

There is no way you can trace the phone, but you can contact your nearest police department or service provider, and notify them of your imei number and the relevant details. They should have the necessary equipment to trace and find your phone.

Follow this step

• First submit your FIR if your mobile lost or stolen
• Then submit your FIR to your service provider
• Then ask your service provider to trace your number
• If your mobile is switched on and it has different Simcard then it will trace easily
• If your simcard is not activated then also your mobile can trace
• You can ask your service provider to Block your IMEI number
• Service provider use a shared hosting service for blocking IMEI numbers
• Witch mean if your mobile have different sim then also Your mobile not work
• your service provider get that sim number which is used for you IMEI Number

point to Remember :

• when ever you purchased new mobile then take your IMEI number and note it
• if your mobile lost or stolen then call to your service provider and block your number
• then go to your nearest police station and give written complete that is FIR
• and take one copy for you
• then submit this copy to your service provider

If it is registered with a tracing company. The system works similar to vehicle trackers, when they are working they transmit to the net and an interegator will look for the IP address if it is activated.

I assume you mean you lost the whole laptop? If so there is no way to "trace it". If you have the serial number information you can contact acer about reporting it lost/stolen so if anyone tries to send it in for repair service they will know that way. Other then that you are out of luck. Hope this information has helped. Luckily you can get new laptops for as little as 300$.

You Can Call It And See If Someone Picks Up And Hope They Wanna Give It Back. They Wont Track It Sorry. Or Hope You Have The Insurance Cause If You Do They Will Replace It If Its Lost Or Stolen.

Garmin has a large hard drive with all the points of interest inside the device.
All the device does is read the GPS coordinates that are broadcasted by the GPS satellites and processes data based on what it receives. It doesn't need to send any information to a central server.
If GPS was able to communicate two ways, there wouldn't be a need to purchase map upgrades for new roads, points of interest, etc...
I just got my Garmin stolen within the past 23 hours, and as much as I wish there was a way, there isn't...
