Replacing switch on 9" task force band saw & need wiring diagram

I couldn't find a manual or wiring diagram available online. A 9" Ryobi band saw looks like the Task Force saw. You may check for it. However, the two saws may have different instructions for the wiring layout. Your best option is call Lowes or see a electrician. They should be able to help you with that.

They ain't diodes because "R" stands for resistor! If you look at them they should have a bands of colour on them. If they are burnt or black they will have failed. Which means you will have to find out what value they are before you can replace them. If the coloured bands are present you can search on-line for a resistor colour code chart. They often have four bands. The last one (4) will be most likely be gold. Bands 1 & 2 are numbers and band 3 is the decimal point place.
The Ohm meter might tell you the value, but it will be affected by them being in circuit.

Sounds like the optical block is going bad. when thos happens you usually see like a band of pink and a band of blue on the top and bottom. or splochy parts of the screen with the failing color. Sony has released a lot of info on this and you can do a google search to confirm. Ive found several examples of failures. This problem is not solvable economically.

try uploading to a photohost such as photobucket. do the lines still show?
are you using a photo editor program to view them? photoshop, cs, cs3, adobe, printshop, paint shop pro, media player?
if they show lines in any of the programs, or when uploaded to a hosting website, the files may be damaged. they may or may not be repairable using a photo editor program.
