We have a husqvarna cth 170 and we cant seem to reverse it... have any ideas on how?

Husqvarna 46" lawn tractor seems to want to move forward without giving gas. does this in reverse also. mower also seem to lack power on hills. any ideas as to what problems I'm looking at?

Sounds like too much tension on drive > needs adjusting. Also check drive if Hydrostatic diff

The battery should be located under the seat.

This is the owners manual if you do not have one.
There is a brake on the pulley, make sure that is not hanging up.
Please let me know what you find.

sounds like it has something inside the trans that needs to be fixed i would say you will need to take that in to a shop to have it fixed

I have a Husqvarna YTH2348 that clicks when i try to start... I had the battery tested and changed the solenoid and still won't start. How do I check the starter????
