I haven't used my machine in about a year, when I turned it on today and ran water through, mold chunks were coming out. I have run several cups of hot water through and still mold is coming out. Does any one know how to fix this?

You can adjust the fill of coffee by holding the large coffee cup down for as long as you want to fill it. Try holding the button down for 20secs., next cup of coffee should automatically fill for 20 seconds. The small cup that you are currently getting was probably set at the factory. Good luck

It's not supposed to make holes in the capsule until the water comes through. So, basically, when you put the capsule in, it pierces the capsule in three spots, on the top. The aluminum part will not pierce until you press the button and water comes through. If water is not coming through, then you can clear the air bubble by opening the lever on top of the machine, pressing the coffee button, and then closing the lever once the water begins to come through.

I have a nespresso type D90 which does exactly the same thing so it is probably not just yours

I have had this issue.
I have removed round silver plastic piece from around coffee spout,(gently -do not crack it) I then removed and washed the black spout, I even used a toothpick once, to remove the stubborn coffee ground, Once it was cleaned - it worked perfect. If you run water from the faucet into spout it should flow smoothly. I warn you though, not sure what this does to any warranty, but don't mess with my morning coffee! I hope this helps.
