4 days of not being able to access Facebook with my Virgin Mobil LG Rumor touch, I finally talked to an IT person that had me download "Opera Mini" and she stated Virgin Mobil is no longer using the original Apps that came with the phone. Now I go thru Opera Mini and there is a square for Facebook.
according to the rep that i just talked to at virgin they are no longer hosting Facebook.. I would call them to get the steps that you need to actually download Facebook/myspace to your phone
You must have got a cd with the phone. it has the pcsuite. else go to LG site and download from there.
to install facebook on your phone, if you have gprs activated on it, you fire your browser and go to www.getjar.com, locate your phone make and model and search for facebook for your phone and install it. you dont need to download the pcsuite.
else, download on your PC and xfer to your phone and with your filemanager select it. your installation process would start
to download windows live messenger, you can go to: http://www.messengergonemobile.com/ then fill in your details, and a link to download will be sent to your phone. or you can go to your phone browser, and type in msn mobile messenger in your browser. and you can use the messenger on the msn website there.
