Samsung j600 mobile phone MP3 player not playing MP3's

The above phone has mp3's stored on a micro sd card. If you go into my files on the phone, the MP3's are there and will play one by one, however you can not add them to the music player or playlists. I have had 2 different micro sd's and got another phone, but still the same problem. I have reinstalled the software on my PC and files will drag and drop in the sd folder.

Files will play from the phone memory directly, but no the sd.

Any ideas?

I've a J600 with the same problem. I can play some of the musics stored on the SD if I put them on the play lists. The problem is that the play lists are limited in terms of the number of musics they can hold! So I can only play some of those musics :(.

If your music files are in a folder you cannot add them to play list, but if you have all your songs singly you can add them to your playlist, I had the same problem tonight with this phone, we added them individually no problem, this has worked but is a lenthly prosses, so far so good, not had a play about with them other than this, still to get them back as an album not yet done, Jackie
Any problems ring virgin, they were very helpful, SGH-J600 User guide not explained very well

I have problem with my LG kh1800 it cannot play the mp3 files on my micro sd memory card the error is"unexecutable file error" pls help me. Thanks and more power

It sounds like you are trying to open the MP3 file with a general file browser. You should open your music player application on your phone, then from within the application, open the MP3. As long as the file is not protected in any way, it should open.
Also check to make sure the file is not outside the playable bit rate for your phone.
If this was helpful, please rank me a 4.

Micro Sd keeps saying it does not contain supported music files

May be mp3 u are playing on your cell is not supported i.e. bit rate is greater than your mobile supports.

Doesn't show mp3 files on micro sd card

You have to drag and drop only the MP3 files into the music folder. If you have them organized and in folder by artist, drag only the MP3s into the card's Music folder.

MP3 wont play in my LGkeybo

I have a Keybo 2 phone so I assume the procedure is the same for the first generation Keybo.

1) First of all, only MP3 format works, period. Don't waste time trying to load WMA or any other music format.

2) Get a micro SD card as this opens up other features of the media functions

3) Using the USB cable, connect your phone to the computer and there should be 2 file browsers that will show up: one for the internal memory and the other for the external memory (micro SD).

4) On the external memory browsing window you should find a MY MUSIC folder. Copy all your MP3 music files into this folder.

5) Unplug the USB cable and open your phone's music player. It will detect the new songs and build update the library.

There you go, you're all set! It took me a couple of hours of searching and tryouts but this works every time. Good listening!

D900 mp3 problem

Just try formatting the SD card. Hope it works fine.

Just connect the micro SD with computer.(You need SD adapter, SD card reader, and USB connection) Most computer will recognise the SD card automatically. Format the micro SD in the Window Explorer(or My Computer). Format menu can be found if you click right-button with cursor on the drive letter. After formatting, re-insert micro SD into your D900.
Some Korean experts says the problem might be caused by different file system (e.g. FAT, FAT32, etc) in each memory card. So they recommended not to share your memory card with different mobile phones as well as any electric devices (eg. MP3 player and digital camera).
