My son's PSP 2001 had the same problem if it was not in a hard case--the battery wouldn't charge and the PSP would not turn on. All we could figure was that something inside the battery area was loose and the snap-on case held the battery in place better. Try putting the battery in and holding the battery cover on firmly with your hand. If it charges and/or turns on while you're holding it like that, you might want to buy a case to sort of hold it together better. I think they loosen up over time and useage.

It sounds like the PSP does not recognize the charger. I recommend buying a Sony certified charger.

SOURCE: My psp turns on for about 30 sec. but the screen

The system software has become corrupted... if a system update freezes, the PSP will have an incomplete operating system software on it and will not boot up. When you turn it on, it looks for system software, can't find it, and it will shut itself back off. This is what we call a "BRICKED" PSP.

The following website can fix it for you by rebuilding the system software for $29. It's the next to last option down -- "UNBRICK PSP"

My phone is not working, Cannot turn it on or charge battery.

Fix an Android device that won't charge or turn on If your Android phone or tablet isn't starting, won't turn on, has a black or blank screen or turns on but immediately turns off, try these steps to fix the issue.
First, try holding down your device's power button for five to seven seconds. This usually restarts a device.
Step 1: Troubleshoot your cable, charger, wall socket & case
  1. Use the charger and cable that came with your device. To check that the charger and cable are working, try them with another device.
  2. Check that the cable is securely connected to the charger and to your device. Check that there's nothing in your device's port, such as dust or lint.
  3. Plug the charger into a wall socket. To check that the outlet is working, plug in something else, like a lamp.
  4. Check that no accessories, such as cases or battery packs, cover your device's sensors or press its buttons.
Step 2: Troubleshoot your battery charge Within one minute after you've plugged in your Android device with a working cable, charger and wall socket:
  • If you see a battery icon, your phone is powered off and is charging. You can restart right away.
  • If you see a red light, your battery is fully discharged. If the red light is flashing, there isn't enough power to turn on. Charge your phone for at least 30 minutes before restarting.
To restart your phone, press and hold the power button for a few seconds. Then, on your screen, tap Restart . (If you don't see 'Restart', press and hold the power button for about 30 seconds, until your phone restarts.)

Step 3: Troubleshoot your screen If you don't see a battery icon or red light after you plug in your Android device, the issue could be with your screen.
  1. Press the power button for about 30 seconds.
  2. Wait about 2 minutes.
  3. Make your phone ring. You can call it from another phone or use Find My Device.

Camer will not power on

If your battery does not seem to charge, then you need to carry out some tests on the device, the battery and the charger. First you insert the battery into another cam corder then you try to charge, if it charges, then it means the battery is okay and if it does not charge, then it means the battery is bad and need to be replaced.
Then i will advice you take the charger and try to charge another device to see if it will work, if it works, then it means the charger is alright but if it does not then it means the charger is bad and need to be replaced.
Finally, test the camcorder by plugging a well tested charger and battery into it and trying to charge it, if it does not charge then the problem is from the camcorder.

Nikon s6300 won't turn on

Coolpix Cameras are tricky to use with chargers. I will assume your USB Charger EH-69P is 100 - 240V 50/60 Hz so it CAN work in many places around the world with an adapter. Do not go over 240V or you could damage it.

These cameras like to have the power supply connected when it is on to charge - meaning if you have it connected and you plug the charger in the wall it will NOT charge. So if you plug the charger in the wall first and then plug the cable in the camera it will work. The camera is actually ON when it charges and I never REMOVE the memory card when it is ON.

When you have a dead battery. Plug the camera in and make sure the ON LED lights and the Charge LED flashes. Then don't mess with it. Let it charge completely (Charge LED stops flashing and is OFF) and then unplug it. It will turn off. Then later you can turn it on.

Is not coming on when plugging in to car, not

Hello there,
The problem with the device is the battery is dead and the charger is not charging it. that is why it is not turning on and, that also is the reason the reset button is not working.
The causes of this problem could be either, the battery is bad, the charger could be bad or the connection port on the device might have gone bad.
You need to run a check on all of these components to be sure of where the problem is from and how to solve the problem.
To run a test on the battery, try to insert the battery into another device and try to charge to see if will get charged. Leave it for a while as the battery is drained and need to be charged for a while before it holds a charge. If it charges, then the battery is okay, but if it does not hold a charge, then it means the battery is bad and need to be replaced.
Now test the charger. by connecting the charger to some other device to see if the charger will charge the device, if it does not charge the device, then it means the charger is bad and need to be replaced. But if it works, then it means the problem is not from the charger.
Finally, test the connection port by trying to use another battery and charger on the device, if it does not charge, then it means the connection port on the gps is bad and need to be replaced.
Hope this information was helpful to you. Goodluck Elect_Comp

Nuvi 260w no power.

Yes, you need to charge it. USE the charger that came with it for best results. Some off brand chargers will NOT work.
You plugged it into your car and nothing? Even if the batteries are bad it should still work. Is it the Garmin charger?
