U CLEAN? MAYBE U DUMB THE DEVELOPER THATS WHY NO COPY NOW. DEVELOPER ITS LIKE A TONER BUT DIFFRENT ON THE TONER...
You probably (foolishly) used compressed air, and blew toner, dust, etc into the laser optics, and it's now blocking much of the light.
Why do so many people think that these machines are just toys, and that 'children' can fix them?

Did you have this problem before you refilled the non-refillable cartridge? If not, you may have damaged the toner cartridge and like the above mentioned post you have a toner spill.
You could also have infected the machine with inferior toner. Ricoh machines are dual componet, meaning the developer and toner are matched to make consistant good quality copies.
Clean, clean and keep cleaning till you remove all of the toner from the unit and if that does not work, call an authorized dealer for professional repair. Was it worth saving $10 on refilling the cartridge?

Are the lines dark or light? You can try replacing the toner to see if that clears it up.
Also, go into the user options -- if you see a setting for something like "toner save mode" turn it off. That can cause poor copy quality and is sometimes turned on by default.
Hi
Sounds like a fusing error . If your able to wipe the toner off the page its a fuser unit problem (replace fuser unit).
Also clean the copier's paper rollers. Marks on copies will occasionally be the result of a dirty paper-rolling mechanism. Simply access these rollers (your photocopier will likely have a plaque or series of signs indicating the locations of these areas) and wipe them off.
Clean the copier bed's glass plate. One of the most common causes of blemishes in photocopies is a dirty glass plate. In some cases a permanent mark, such as a scratch, will be present on the plate, showing up in every copy as a dark line or spot. However, most problems attributed to the glass plate can be fixed by wiping the plate with a soft towel and common household glass cleaner.
Clear any excess toner that has spilled or overflowed in the toner cartridge chamber. Excess toner will almost always result in blemishes on your copies. The most effective means of cleanup is to remove the toner cartridge and set it aside, thoroughly cleaning up any spilled toner in the compartment before putting the cartridge back in place.
Check for low toner levels. Low toner levels can actually contribute to unsightly lines and blotches on a photocopy. Most photocopiers will automatically indicate the need to replace an empty or low toner cartridge; while the toner is low, these models will permit continued copying. Consult your photocopier's instruction manual or key to warning lights and indicators for how to tell if the toner is low or empty.
