Look at the screen controller board in the TV. It's the one that has two flat multi conductor flat ribbon cables leading to the screen.

If it is an LED LCD TV, the backlight inverter board should be troubleshooted. Contact any service technician.

THE RIGHT HALF OF THE SCREEN IS NOTICABLY DARKER THAN THE LEFT. PICTURE CAN STILL BE SEEN BUT SEEMS TO BE A SHADOW COVERING THE RIGHT 40% OF THE SCREEN.

Sounds like you need to replace your lcd control board.

On my monitor W1941S half of area (left side) changed all colours to darker then right side (which is o.k.), What is the problem? Thank you.

Press f-Engine button (it is on the right side of MENU button), select your desired setting, if it doesn't help, select the "X" (none) mode - the half dark screen will reset to full screen OK mode.

Right side of the screen is darker than the left half.

That is the sign of the power supply output is not at full output, you need to open it up and inspect the caps in the power supply first, look for caps with leaking/bulgin tops.

No. The optical engine is OK. You need an adjustment in the light tunel. Call a tech to do it.
