Need kneading paddle

During moving, I obviously had someone throw away the kneading paddle for my Westbend Automatic Bread and Dough Maker, all I can find on it is the Catalog number 41073. Can you help me and let me know where I can get one. My machine still works great, just like a new one. I sure dont want to have to throw the machine away.
Thanks.

I had great success in finding what I wanted for my breadmaker at http://breadmakerpartsemporium.ioffer.com/. They have manuals and parts for most breadmakers at very reasonable prices.

When do you take out knead bar

The knead bar or paddle is taken out after the bread is finished baking and the loaf is removed from the bread pan.

The paddle for my Breadman BK1060BC has been coming off during kneading. Today, I saw some grey residue in the dough. Is the problem with the paddle, pan or both? Thanks.

I just purchased this 2 days ago and started to use it. I noticed the bread pan would wobble and was noisy during the kneading cycle. On the second use the paddle came off during the kneading cycle. Being a service technician all my life, I started to analyze the problem. I was previously surprised how loose the bread pan fitted into the bread maker and suspected there should be something to support the pan and hold it in place. I could not see anything obvious, but after looking carefully I noticed spring clips on the bottom of the bread pan, and also mating spring clips in the bottom of the bread maker. If I pushed the bread pan down fairly hard into the bread maker the bread pan would snap firmly in place. This stopped the wobbling during the kneading cycle and the paddle coming off. I could not find anywhere in the manual where it explained the bread pan must be pushed firmly down into place until it snaps in. The manufacturer should explain this to their customers on their website.

My paddle keeps coming off when the dough is mixing. What's up with that?

Your paddle is probably worn out and has too much play in it. Some play is necessary to get it off for cleaning but it shouldn't be so loose it is coming off during kneading.
