Check the input! if the lines are strait then its likely to be input problems check the cables and inputs.

As I tell my stage hands...."I need a little more detail to help you.". What happened to cause this? Was it working before? Any setting changes? Inputs you are using? Is it only a certain media device that has this problem? And the list goes on. Please update with specific "this is what happened, and I will gladly help you with a solution. :D

Well, first question would be is anything plugged in, and is currently outputting any content? Some televisions will only display input devices that are being fed some kind of content in list form. Like my Westinghouse...when my PS3 is on, my little HDMI3 will show up with a square indicating content....when it is off....HDMI3 is not listed. I'm sure you can however manually scroll through inputs on your remote, and you will find your AV2 HDMI.

Its very likely that you need to have LG perform a sodtware upgrade on your unit. Contact LG and see if your tv is one of the applicable units with software upgrade issues, please let me know if it works. Good Luck.

You probaly have a bad y or z sustain board

My mistake, HDMI in is not routed to any other output but HDMI out

the Svideo, not Saudio, will have to be selected in the tv's input menu, but Svideo won't give audio, you will have to connect audio leads to the TV and to the sat box or whatever you are using for your programmes

Our 42" LG picture is also split down the middle. It doesn't matter if it is cable or a DVD. I would love to know if anyone has found out the solution to this prob. The TV is only 3 years old...
