Problems on Xbox one data sync - Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

If you have an xbox slim model then there is a button above the USB slots at the bottom. Press Start and Back on the controller until the center button lights up. Then press the button above the two USB solts and hold it for a couple secs.
If you have n old xbox there should be a simliar button some where.
Also if you bought one of the charging packs for the controller, use the cord that came with it.

1. To sync a controller with the Xbox console you must first push the sync button on the controller first!
2. Then you must push the button on the console second.

3. If problems still persist, then you might want to check the batteries on the remote.

Hi, look for the sync button on the guitar, once you have found this all you need to do is switch your xbox on and wait for it to come on now when its on and the game is loaded or you can do this before you load the game, now you see the little round white button on the console its below and to the right of the dvd tray, well this button is the sync button so press this then the green lights should spin round the power button telling you its searching for wireless devices now when this is spinning round you can either press the sync button on guitar or if it dont have a sync button just press a few of the buttons then the spinning green light should stop telling you it has synced it and you should then be able to use it with no problems.

I assume you are trying to link you pc and Xbox. Here’s how I did it:
1) Disconnect your modem from your router, physically.
2) Disable the internet security on your pc, ***PLEASE NOTE: disabling security leaves your pc vulnerable, make sure you are physically disconnected from the internet.***
3) In the Xbox dashboard go to my Xbox, then music library.
3) Select the pc option, at this point the Xbox should automatically sync with the pc.

-----THIS IS NOT THE INSTRUCTIONS GIVEN BY XBOX, USE DESCRESSION WHEN ATTEMPTING THIS. It worked for me, but I was syncing to an old pc that doesn’t store sensitive data or matter if gets ruined. In no way do I suggest trying this with a new or important pc.-----

Your controllers are not synced to your xbox 360 yet every wireless controller can be played on any system it just has to be synced but once you sync it to another system the system b4 is no longer synced so all you have to do is press the xbox home button on your controller and instruments then press the small circular button on the right of memory unit b if you have any problems on trying to do this msg my profile i hope this helps you.

You must plug the HDMI cable from the Xbox into the port on the side of the tv. Go into the menu and set to game mode.

Most XBOX controllers can be easily taken apart. Try removing any existing screws and simply push the button manualy. Make sure to keep your hands and fingers away from the circuit board inside. Sometimes oils from your hands can cause faulty problems.

Ok plug everything in and Reset the router and modem wait a few minutes and try again.
Verify that that DATA cable at the Xbox's location works with a PC could be a simple bad data jack or patch cord. Do you get a connection failure like this? MTU failure?

The MTU(Maximum Transmission Unit) failure when testing the xbox's connection can be do to a few things because Xbox live requires a minimum MTU setting of 1364. Sharing a slower internet connection with other PC's in the house can cause this error, The incorrect MTU setting in your routers programming can cause this error, The lack of firmware updates to your router can cause this error, an older modem from your service provider can cause this. Old or worn network cables and jacks and or RG(coax) cables if you have cable internet could cause this. Your Router or gateway could be incompatible with Xbox live.

Try a direct connection to the Xbox without a router and reset your modem before doing it. If your able to connect then you know its the router. If not you know its the modem or cables or jacks or even your Xbox if you havent tested it elsewhere.
You can tell your ISP to mail you the newest updated modem... sometimes they will have a guy just drop one off.

This is trial and error.
