SOURCE: Where do you put batteries in transforming radio

There is a plastic latch that loosen with a philips screwdriver. Rotate the latch down and you should be able to rotate the top half of the back up.

If I buy two rock crawlers for my kids will the signals from the remotes interfere with each other?

If they are on the same channel then yes. Most rc cars have a sticker or some other marking on the box if they are available in different channels. Usual they use 27mhz and 49mhz bands. Some use one band but have a switch to change the coding used...but this is usually also indicated on the box.

Talkabout MH230R does not Receive or Transmit on channel, can just Transmit (only clicks when Recieve) when programmed 2 channels higher (i.e. all radios on 5-3, one is on 7-3)

Strange. Could it be any of the radios are from different countries? The channels are not worldwide. For instance, Canadian radios are on different frequencies than USA radios. They look identical.

Doesn't transmit

Check your battery. Transmitting takes more energy than receiving. Also, check your frequency and code settings. The radio you are using this one with might have a different code setting than yours. http://shop.giantintl.com/Manuals.asp

Can this remote (hunter 27157) be paired with a fan that is already installed and has a remote. I want to use it as a backup. the remote i have is not a 27157.

I know you can use many different remotes of the 27157 model to control one receiver. There are several different reason why you may not be able to use the remote from one brand/model with another. The first is the frequency range may be different. One could be 27mhz and another could be 49mhz. Another reason is the code that is sent to the receiver by the remote to turn on the light or the fan varies from manufacturer to manufacturer and even from one model to the next from the same manufacturer. This is so there is less chance one remote/receiver commbination will interfere with another in the same location. That is why I say you will be very lucky to find an off model remote to work with your receiver.

Where can i find a 2 channel receiver for a 2 motor boat. Right/left and throttle?

Hi DM,

A hobby store, garage sales, craigslist. etc. Another boat.

You need to have the Transmitter and Receiver paired to the same frequency.

You'll find most on either 27MHz or 49MHz. There are also six or so sub frequencies under each you need to worry about.

I can't be more specific than that with the information you supplied.

The motors or example, fuel or electric? Makes a difference.

Best regards
Mike

My bose pmcii lcd remote control does not receive a signal from a bose lifestyle 48 receiver. I made all the connections for the wireless system whose receiver is getting a stron signal from the...

Have you tried using the remote antenna supplied with the Bose system? This connects to the "Remote antenna" socket on the rear of the media centre and is made up of 2 parts: a shielded section (black in colour) that runs past any sources of interference - mains or signal cables, other electronics products - and the unshielded antenna (clear plastic covered copper wire) that must be fully extended vertically to act as an aerial. Position this away from sources of interference and as close to the second room as possible (Bose do a longer version, free of charge in some countries....)
The remotes only have a range of up to 20metres - this will drop the more walls it passes through and the thicker the walls. Any interference can affect this - radio transmitting equipment (WiFi, video sender, but especially products transmitting on the same frequency - 27MHz or 40MHz, e.g wirless thermostats or alarm systems....) or products with poorly shielded transformers. Experiment with swtiching off other electical equipment (including lights if they have a transformer - e.g. halogen spot lamps). If you identify a source, can you move it away.....?
