LG Rumor I have an LG Rumor and I have sent full songs from my computer to my phone. However, once they're in my phone they don't have names. They are in my ringer file as a tt00000 file. Is there a way that I can change the name of the files?

    did you sent them over a cable? they shouldn't be in your ringer file. you should be able to click on the file and rename. does it play?

Go to Settings > PC Connection > USB Mass Storage and make sure that it is checked. Connect your phone to your PC via usb cable or bluetooth. It should now apprear on your PC as a seperate removable drive such as drive E, F, G, etc. Open the drive and search for the folder that your music is stored. From there, u can rename the songs and even copy them to your multimedia and ringtones. When u are finished, just close the folder and disonnect the PC from your phone. The song files should be now named to what ever you named them as. Hope this helps :)

You can't send any songs that came with your phone to another phone
you can only do that by getting a memory card and downloading and saving all you songs on it then you can bluetooth it to another phone

get a desktop charger and use it to charge the battery of your LG Rumor that its charger receptor broke.

Once the battery is full, you can then turn on the phone and get the information needed on the phone.

LG Rumor 2- deleting sent message contacts
THIS WORKS!! This will erase ALL phone numbers saved by text messaging. Go to tools and settings... Select settings.... Select more.... Select security.... Enter lock code, if you have not changed it, it is either 0000, or the last 4 numbers of your phone number... select erase reset... Select erase messages... Select yes. Copying to phone
Normally, you cannot set complete songs as a ringtone. go to LG's website and check the manual. Full songs are generally too long to be used as ringtones.

The Rumour doesn't allow most file types to be sent to or from it; Simultaneously, the media player appears to not understand the concept of streaming via bluetooth. Very disappointing. You can still use the memory card to get music on and off the phone, however.
