Original xbox is asking me for a v3 regerstration password

Just go on their site and go to support section and look for talk to a representive I lost my password and wanted to change my email there very helpful if you ask the right person

The default empowering password is 000000. That would be five or six zeros, I am fairly certain it is 6. You will need to boot from the original C drive for the factory restore to work. Once you enter the password in the empowering technology, you should find the option for a full factory restore.

1. Disconnect the power supply and the battery.

2. Unplug and remove the keyboard.

3. In between the video chip and the keyboard connector you will see a set of 4 dip switches.

4. Move switch 1 ,up.

5. Re-start the laptop and press Ctrl+F2 simultaneously as it boots, this will get you into the BIOS.

6. Set the BIOS password to disable and press Enter.

7. The machine will ask you if you want to Exit and Save the Changes, click Yes.

8. It will then boot into Windows. Re-start the computer and if there is no password then you can proceed to step 9. If there is still a BIOS password then you must repeat steps 1-8 until the password is removed.

9. Back at the mainboard, push the switch at the number 1 slot down, back to its original position.

10. Re-start the laptop.

11. The Acer BIOS password should now have been removed and the machine should now boot straight into Windows.

Actually instead of paying for the code you can contact the carrier that originally had the phone (this can be found by looking for a carrier logo such at T-mobile AT&T or Cingular) and call them with the IMEI (IMEI- International Mobile Equipment Identifier, This can be located behind the battery, on the box for the phone, or my dialing *#06#) and they can provide you with the code, do not try to enter the code with out calling them, if you put in the wrong code 5 times the phone will not be unlockable

Use a bootable cd. do the format from that menu. alternatively, use third party bootable softwares to format the hdd.

One trick I know: When changing the code, when it asks for the old password, press the "menu" button first, then enter 000000 and that may work also.

there are mainly 2 ways to download/transfersongs to your Moto V3 - USB cable & Bluetooth
(though you can also download from internet at the cost of airtime).

USB Cable:
- download and install this usb driver - http://direct.motorola.com/hellomoto/Common/Drivers%20and%20Plug%20ins/USB_Driver_32.zip
- connect the Motorola to the computer through USB cable.
Now you can copy/transfer songs from your computer.

Bluetooth:
Using Bluetooth you can transfer songs from any other Bluetooth device(other Mobile or computer which has Bluetooth)
- Switch On your V3's Bluetooth. Press Menu -> Setting & Tools -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Setup -> Power -On

- Make your V3 visible to other device. Press Menu -> Setting & Tools -> Connections -> Bluetooth -> Setup -> Find Me

- Now from any other mobile(having Bluetooth), select any song, go to its options, select either Send/Copy which has option To Bluetooth (it'll prompt to switch On the Bluetooth, answer yes)

- click on Search for Device. this will find your V3 in few seconds.

- after this it may ask to set a password, set a 4 digit password, say 1111

- now your V3 will also ask to confirm the password, keyin 1111

- You can see the progress of your song transfer.
(for next song you'll only have to say Ok on V3, password etc. step only one time)

Is it asking for the password before or after it boots into windows?

If it's the bios password, there is a jumper that can reset that. It's on the main board, but there are many possible locations for it. Also, it must be jumped and then un jumped with the power off. If you jump the wrong one, or power up with it jumped, you could fry the MB.

If it's a windows password, then you have to reinstall windows from scratch.
