SOURCE: I have a Mitsubishi 73"

I'm sorry, but your looking at an Optical Block Assembly which also includes the DM module. Latest figures are approximately $650.00 to replace. I would have called a service tech out to properly diagnose the problem first. Please let me know if you have any other questions.

Hello, welcome to Fixya!

My question would be; how long have you been using the TV and have you every changed the lamp?

If you have never changed the lamp or if it has been a long time since you changed the lamp, then it means the lamp needs to be changed.

The red lamp staying on, also could mean a power problem. But,in any case, go ahead and change the lamp. Hopefully, it should fix the problem.

Regards.

Mitsubishi dlp tv wd65837 wont turn on.

Hello Ejaz,
You will also probably need to change the blown fuse for the lamp also located near the lamp. The blinking orange led is just showing that the circuitry cannot sense any light output yet!

Good Luck!

73735 no picture no sound

Are you sure it is turning on? It sounds like your lamp has failed. Look at the LEDs on the front. If one is red then you need to check your lamp. Refer to the troubleshooting section of your manual to determine if the indicator LEDs match the symptoms. If the status light is flashing then your lamp cover is not installed all the way.
