Back-light fault. Contact any service technician. Check and replace damaged component/s at its back-light inverter board, or replace this board as card basis. If you wish to get some details; check the site linked here. Surf the site with patience. Pull up older posts. Do a search by type in the brand name of your device at its search box. It will be best to replace the inverter board as card basis. http://electronicshelponline.blogspot.com/
Unfortunately, canon tends to use the same error codes across models...particularly the E10 error code which indicates a JPEG IC error. Basically, the image processor has just given up. I don't know of a way to fix it other than to completely dissect the camera and replace the entire board. Definitely not the news I wanted to deliver but I've seen that error on three separate cameras, and opening up the firmware files for each indicated E10 as being the same error. Any chance its still under warranty?
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope that helps!
E10 is an inlet error, or not filling water properly.
Firstly, check the inlet filter (situated on the machine, where the inlet hose turn into) Then open the machine and check the Inlet Valve (You can attach power to the 2 points to see if the solenoid opens or not)
Hi,
This is a common problem with LCD monitors and is usually a result of blown capacitors or it could be a failed backlight as the inverter will shut down if it detects this. You will need to open up your monitor and you will be able to see if any capacitors have "blown" but failure of a lot of components will cause this symptom.
