Goes off and power light blinks 7 times?

Maybe last night when you were using it you were on your battery power because the power cord is bad. Does the Power Adapter portion of the power cord show any light when you plug it in the way before you plug it into the laptop?

If it fails to boot then move the chip to the nextmemory slot and try rebooting. If it fails take the chip out and set itaside, then put the other chip in and try booting it in both slots. 9: Press RESUME

10: Unplug the Power cord
