need model # not a common problem when all will do that, if only one bad burner switch but when all do that could be shorted wiring

the inner burner is broken so the whole thing needs to be replaced. check your owners manuel for warrenty times on the burner. otherwise just replace the burner and that will solve your problem..

You might need to replace the burner. Lift up the top cover and inspect the burner in question. If you have a ohm meter check out the burner. If it is good then you need a new control knob. Located on the front of unit. I hope it is a burner they are only 10 bucks if it is the switch they about 30 bucks.

Sounds like a heating element. Same thing happend to my oven. You can find them around 50-60 dollars. Veryy easy to install, just remove a couple of screws and remove old element and put in new one. Make sure you shut off power to oven firstg of course.

When you turn a burner to the light position, all burners should spark. If one is not, clean burner head area where the burner is not sparking. (dirty from boil overs)
