Oven would not heat, EO -F3- changed oven temp. sensor, it started to heat, but would kick off after preheat, a couple minutes into reg. cycle, or would kick off a couple of minutes into heat cycle. Does heat though. Sent through a full clean cycle, 3.30 hours and worked the whole time, both elements working. After cooling down from that I tried to just "heat", and it still heats for a couple minutes and kicks off. I switched the breaker off for awhile. did nothing to help. Any Suggestions?
baked control module for heating elements. if you have a volt meter, check for power when oven on, if no juice its the control element, if you do get juice then its the elements

yes, or the oven control itself, make sure also to closely inspect the element itself for any "HOT-SPOTS" where its getting a high resistance area and not passing all the current needed to heat the element

Had same problem with my KitchenAid. 10 years old. Ran self cleaning cycle, oven died!!!! Called repair. Appears to be thermal fuse. Part on order. Microcomputer had some brown spots on it. Tey wanted us to replace it too. But will wait to see if fuse is problem. Repair - $150 vs. $570. If it's the higher price, we'll buy a new oven before putting that kind of money into it. Will NEVER run a clean cycle again even if I have to buy a new oven.

Hello
& Welcome to FixYa If the
sensor replacement did not solve the problem and the door is also closing
completely then it is the control board that needs replacement. Please get back to me if you have any
other questions. Kevin
