Veiwsat 2000hd receiver i was downloading a file when the receiever got unplug now it reads boot for 5secs then when i have thr usb in reads check usb if the usb isnt in just reads boot, int, and then the time tried unplugging disconnect wires main problem is it wont even show sat tv mode to use the remote

if it keeps losing this file it can be a read wright error with the hard drive. you may need a new hard drive.

1. Check from Bios that the option boot from USB is Enable
2. Check from Bio that In Boot Priority USB is first Booting Device.
3. Check that USB has all the required Booting Files.

If your receiver simply doesn't reconize the usb, than try a hard reset to the receiver. To do this, power the unit on, than unplug power to it for about 15 seconds. Another item you can check is the type of files that your music is on your usb. It is possible that your receiver is not able to play that type of file. If thats the case try downloading a different format of music onto your usb and see if that works.

first download the ASUS EZ Flash software into a USB stick, after which you download the BIOS file there as well. Make sure to format the USB stick to be bootable first. Then boot the machine from USB first.

You have to enter the BIOS setup utility and change the boot order to first boot device as USB drive or USB device etc..

make sure there is new batteries in both the mouse and keyboard. Also the wireless receiever that connects to the computer is responding as well.

After you get new batteries put in and also have the receiever plugged in. press the caps lock, num lock keys and see if they light up on the receiver. If they light up then things are working, if they don't then bring up the notepad and see if any of the keys show up in notepad when you type and also see if the cursor on the screen moves for your mouse.

Hopefully both of them will work once you change batteries. If both don't work after changing batteries then you'll need to get a new wireless keyboard/mouse kit.

Hey make sure there capable with your deck i have this deck and downloaded the manual and lernt i cant use a 8g usb stick and it reads most mp3s
