Probably close to 50 things could cause that, but here are a few of the most common: Bare wire in a harness of the oven, causing a short-circuit in the line. Faulty plug on the power cord. Outlet in the wall is damaged. Loose wire in the outlet box, causing a dead short. Bad wire between the outlet box and the main breaker box. Weak breaker, or a breaker that isn't heavy enough to handle the load of the oven. (especially, if you just bought a new oven, it may need a larger breaker to handle start up.) Use a fused multi-meter (voltmeter) to check for these issues, and do not try to fix it if you are not familiar with electrical work. It could cause a fire, or give you a deadly shock.
my first thought is if the oven is standard 220 three or four prong electric, for safety, go to breaker switch panel,"in House or outside of house", open pannel door and find the breaker switch marked for "oven" or "kitchen utility" . it will be a double switch of 20 to 25 amp ,"each". or it will b One breaker switch of 45-50 amp. ,switch it to off. then see that the oven has no power, the stove top as well as the lights and the oven .try to unlock it now. by lever or button ? then if not unlocking turn the breaker back on and try it again. hope it works for you.
What you need to check is for power at the clock.TURN OFF BREAKER gain access to clock and use volt meter. One the clock will be wires maked L1 & N on those 2 wires when breaker is turned back on their should be 120 vac. IF 120 vac at those 2 wires,replace the clock, if not 120 vac into clock check for burnt/broken wires
Turn the breaker off for 5 minutes. this will reset the system. If you still have no power then it spiked your control board and it's the board that is fried. Please remember to leave rating before you sign off
yes the oven thermal fuse blew when the fan went off its also called a tcoswitch if you pull out the oven and take the top off there will be a tech sheet there that will give the location of the tco some are on top some are on back this can also happen if the oven is too tight in the cabinet not enough room around it to let the heat dissipate its a round metal disc with two wires on it
