it is the problem your computer operating system or motherboard bios setup problem . You restart your pc after restart then press dell key then prevew your bios setup option then choice bios defalt setup then press F10 press Y restart your pc .

NO. you cannot install DUO to *********** board. the DUO is pinless and the P4 3.06 is pin type if you want to upgrade your PC you have to replace the mother board too.

Your motherboard is for a AMD processor not Intel. You need a motherboard for a Intel processor before you can proceed.They are so different. Core Duo chips don't even use pins.

go to "bios settings" by pressing "delete" key or F2 at the system start up time .. after going in to bios then search for the options load optimal defaults ....then save it and exit ..
after that restart ...

now have a check if your problem persists then the processor which you have choosed might not support the motherboard specification the frequency of the processor is higher than the specified rate .. check here for the details of the processor which supports your motherboard

It looks like you have a good candidate for a gaming pc, in my opinion. I would suggest that you upgrade the memory to its max of 4 GB. The most common solution was this: open device manager click "system devices" disable "microsoft UAA bus driver for high definition audio" uninstall "UAA bus driver" make rescan devices (Note: Not all had this step. You may want to skip it.) D.W. install realtek driver the realtek driver includes the UAA driver too.Hope this helps.
