could be a number of things. heat may have blown a fuse now nothing works, heater may not have worked because the blower wasn't. you need a meter to test voltage.
what size fuse are you using? take the wattage / voltage = amp size you need.
ie... 12watts divide by 12 volts equals 1 amp.
or 60watts/12volts=5amps
but this is a estimate range. theres always surge amps that can be added etc..
rule of thumb.
40ch only types need 2amp-5amp.
the export styles and SSB40ch will need 5amp -8amp
The fuse in the power plug is there to protect the cable. The fuse in the plug should be the same as the cable. For instance a 5amp cable should have a 5amp fuse. If the fuse blows all the time the cable could be faulty or there could be an overload in the power supply (perhaps the transformer has failed) that is causing the supply to draw more amps than the cable and fuse can cope with.
WARNING fitting a fuse higher than the cable rating could cause the cable to overheat and catch fire!
