There are 3 buttons on the side on my cote d' azur watch. The middle on pulls out to set the time, but the top and bottom don't seem to do anything. I want to set the day and date. Please help!
Actually I can't solve this. My son bought the same watch on a Carnival Cruise and had the same problem. Upun closer inspection with a magnifying glass, it is obvious that the hands on the day and date dials are fake!! They are just attached in the center to the watch face. The other two push knobs on the watch also do nothing at all. So basically a rip off, but at least it was only $20. At least it keeps time for now. As usual, if it seems to good to be true, it almost always is. Sorry about that, but we are in the same club with you.
Just received the watch from someone from a cruise.
I agree that the little dials can't move and the top and bottom buttons do nothing.
Thing is, there was no instructions with the watch, therefore when purchasing the watch
it is not a scam unless you ask the seller to show you how to set the times and then you would find out they are fake.
Pretty sneaky selling tacktic.
I had the same problem with mine and it took me 35 minutes to find this article. I tried turning the knobs on the side while pressing the button completely in to no avail. I popped off those two knobs on the top and the bottom only to find that they do absolutely nothing. They have a small o-ring to prevent water from coming in and when you depress the button on the side, it simply moves a long knob into the watch. Turning them with the button depressed does nothing. This cheap timepiece has made me feel slighted by the cruise line themselves, allowing the sale of such garbage on their boat.
