First place is to google the correct model number for the remote that pairs with that tv.then see if you can source this via EBay.
most remotes range £15 to £25. Sometimes you can programme a universal remote but this is hit and miss.
The only way to programm your universal remote is using the appropiat code for your TV from user's manual
Now, if you don't have the manual for the
sanyo remote mc42fn00
bad news is that It will not appear on line, so I couln't find a manal available
As last resourse, do a google search for
sanyo remote manual
Download some other manuals and MAYBE you get the code for your TV
There is a manual for the Direct TV remote and a code sheet. They should have given to you when they hooked it up. If not, look on their website. Find the code for Samsung tv and enter it.
press tv button, then press magic button. LED will flash twice, enter code, should flash twice again, press power button, if TV goes off you're up and running!
Please be informed that the codes vary with different make and model of the universal remote that you have. If none of the codes above work, please post back with make and model of your universal remote included.
