I am having problems with Rinna 1004F jeater. It is giving me error code 99 and won't light up (I can't hear any sounds of sparkler as it would do when it's about to light up). So when I turn it on, air intake goes on for few seconds then it stops with error code 99. Any idea how to get it fixed? Thanks

Part 168 and 169 tell the unit if there is a back pressure issue with the flue and that would trigger the warning error code.

This fusible link may be open. Try jumpering the two leads and see if the unit operates. If it does replace the fusible link. Do not operate the unit without the fusible link for an extended period. It is a safety device and is there for a reason. Hope this helps.

It sounds like you have a problem with your security system if you mean that it won't allow you to shift out of park. BUT you should start off getting the engine error code read so you will know what the car is trying to tell you. Anytime you get a check engine light, the vehicle generates an error code.

Since you probably can't drive it, you need to rent, borrow or buy an OBDII scanner and get that code, so it gives you a clue on where to begin the troubleshooting process.

Do you get an error code? 11. 12 68, 72, etc. Does the combustion motor come on. You should be able to hear it. Is the exhaust and air pipe clear? Is the air hose hooked to the back of the stove?

SOunds like the carriage is stuck or has malfunctioned. The only other option is to open the disc changer and force it out by hand.

Error 99 means lens communication error.
Try to clean the contacts on both sides.
and re-install lens

Error code 99 means the lens is not communicating properly .

You need to remove the lens and clean it . Place it properly . If it is not placed properly you will receive this error .

If its not producing heat, yep! If it is, it indicates that there is an error code stored in memory.
