I Bought the Denon Mc2000 Dj Controller, The Place Where i dj has its speakers coming with 2 RCA cables to plug in plus I have to bring one of my Amplified speakers(JBL EON 15'')... I have tried al connections, even bough extra special wires/plugs but when i connect my JBL I cant hear the voice of the main singer, only the base works... is there a reason why? i tried to setup many different ways in the sound setup of VDJ but none works. When it does i get no audio in headphones or if i change i get no audio in speaker, Sometimes i even get the crossfade not work... I don't know if its the Mac or the controller.. I cant seem to figure out.. Tried many things... One thing that i can think of is that my Mac is not equipped with 4 channels, only 2, Can that be it? Help please! tanks...

You are getting reverse polarity, meaning the speakers on one is the opposite as the other, black>red red>black, thus only getting vocals or music.

Good Morning All. I am a mobile DJ currently

Just a guess - You may have an active component in the amplifier which is going bad ( i.e. transistor, chip ). Best to take it to a service depot to be checked. It is also possible since it is often transported that an internal cable assembly is loose.

How to connect denon sc2000 to external speakers

As far as I know you can't. You'd have to connect it to a mixer or USB device and use the MAIN OUT (or equivalent) on either of those to connect to external speakers. The denon sc2000 isn't meant to be something you'd use to listen, more to route and control.

Only half the volume on the left channel of the mixer. Why? :(

Does the left meter do the same thing? If the meter matches the right one, I would suspect the volume potentiometer on the powered speaker. Try exercising the volume knob. There might be some oxidizing on the potentiometer.

My jog wheel on denon dn s1000 is messsing up will not work properly

The encoder probably has dirt or dust in the pickup. Remove the wheel and clean the sensor area.

I bought American DJ discolights with T20f control. I do have American Audio mixer and cd player CDI 300. 2 powered Mackie 450 speakers. How can I connect the stuff?

I can only give you some ground rules to follow: Connect ALL of the audio equipment to a single receptacle or power conditioner. This may mean running an extension cord back from where the speakers plug in to the mixer. Use BALANCED lines, either XLR or TRS to connect the speakers to the mixer. Power the lights separately. To give anymore suggestions would require a diagram of how your venue is laid out and the location of power, etc.

My denon DN-MC6000 is not responding at all to any of the parameters on virtual dj... i was working at first then i upgraded my software... i have checked the firmware and tried going back to the old...

Hi,

please turn on your denon device and then press and hold the following combination of buttons: back+fwd+ (cf mode) . Now, you can turn on your device and (after 4 seconds) release the previous buttons you were pressing/holding. You should see the option to default settings appear on the screen. Once selected, your device should restart. For more details, please check page 21 of your device's service man ual.

Thank you.
