How to finalize dvd without the AC adapter for ( Hitachi DZ-BX35A) camcorder

Hi,

I have a Hitachi DZ-BX35A camcoder but I lost the AC adapter. Now even though I can view the dvd in camcorder I can finaze it.. so i can not play the dvd in any dvd player and see whatever I have recorderd?

Can someone help me!!!!! here Please.

Jagan i've lost the ac adapter for this camera and the camera will not let you finalize a disc without plugging it into the wall. (having a battery attached doesn't do it). in addition, i cannot find a replacement adapter anywhere. the knock-off chargers are only chargers, they can't connect to the camera for finalizing. any help at all would be greatly appreciated!

I lost my adaptor to my camcorder I have my footage on a memory card is there anyway to get the footage off so I can put in on my computer

Where Do I Connect My AC Adapter and USB cord on the camcorder???
There should be a cover on the front of the camera (where the lens is) that pops open. All the ports are in here.

you need a RCA Connectors to plug your camcorder to your tv. its like 2 jacks at one end and a jack (just like the connector of the headphone and earphone) at the other end. hope that helps

not sure on that model but in general all -r have to be finalized to play on other players-some -rw can play ok w/out a finalize-should be a menu button in playback mode

Damaged DVD-R Disc
Try to play it by connecting camcorder through the ac adapter/charger which will further connect the battery, so this means you do not have to put the battery in the camcorder rather get it through the ac adapter/charger and format if it asks to. I recovered 1 disc by doing so!

Hitachi Camcorder Finalizing
I struggled with the same problem. The disc cannot be finalized without the power adapter that connects the charger to the camera. After much research, I finally found the solution. Do a Google search for Hitachi part # EV11012. Panasonic uses the same part number for the same part but for some reason the Panasonic part is usually $50 more expensive than the identical Hitachi part. Either brand EV11012 part is the magical part you need and I found my brand new Hitachi OEM part online for $20. Prior to be finding the correct part number, merely searching the internet for an AC adapter for the BX35a only yielded results for all the crappy Chinese aftermarket battery chargers.

Do I have to use the AC adapter/charger when finalizing a DVD-R disc?
I got a hitachi camcorder at a flee market and it did not come with an instruction book. Everything is fine up to the part where I have to finalize the disc in order to play it back on my DVD player or whatever. I have all the cords but don't know where the outlet on the camcorder is, in order to plug into the ac charger.. In other words: Where do I plug the cords. I can't find anything on the camcorder that will ssupport the cords,, Is there a hidden slot somewhere on the camcorder???? Please help, Email me at...... [email protected]
